Though the transformation of your life and perspective is important, there is more. You are one person. I want to work through your life to spread this awareness to others. I will make you like a farmer who casts seeds into the ground; sow generously, sow continually, sow pervasively.
You are but one member of my body, and your walking into the light means that one part of my body is more alive. But there are so many members of my body who are still paralyzed. In their paralysis they have never felt within themselves the moving power of the Spirit. I am counting on you to be a transmitter of the Spirit to those whose lives you touch. As each one touches another, the body begins to be enlivened.
– Ben Johnson, I Stand at the Door, CTS Press, 1986, 18-19.
15 Since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, this is the reason that 16 I don’t stop giving thanks to God for you when I remember you in my prayers. 17 I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, will give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation that makes God known to you. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart will have enough light to see what is the hope of God’s call, what is the richness of God’s glorious inheritance among believers, 19 and what is the overwhelming greatness of God’s power that is working among us believers. This power is conferred by the energy of God’s powerful strength.
Ephesians 1:15-19

What are ways that you can sow seed generously, continuously and pervasively in your day-to-day life? How might you be a transmitter of the Spirit? Is there someone in particular, God is nudging you to connect with in an intentional way? Be in prayer about the ways your personal transformation could be the catalyst for the transformation of others.
Holy Lord,
Help me to share of what I have received.
Help me to be a transmitter of your Spirit –
of your power –
as you seek to build up your body in love.
Allow what you are doing within me,
to overflow into the lives of those around me.
Help me to be a part of what you are doing in the world.
Amen
